Leiden is the European City of Science this year. Science has a big role in our year, but what is science to begin with? The broad definition: human knowledge in certain areas and the way in which that knowledge is obtained and received. Science can be used to explore the history of subjects, perform fundamental research, and research the applicability of applied sciences. Science can be accessible for everyone. It just depends on what you want to do.
